What are the UK2 Default Email Settings

This article will help you know what settings you need to use for your email client. Here at UK2 we have tried to create step-by-step instructions for many email clients. Please visit the E-mail section and look for your email client. If it is not there please use these settings.

**Please note that these settings will only work for emails setup within the UK2 Dashboard. If you are a reseller or if you are using the Hosted Exchange through UK2, please click the appropriate link here:  Resellers   Hosted Exchange **

Incoming Server: mail.uk2.net
Incoming Port: 110 (for POP3), 143 (for IMAP)
Incoming Port for SSL: 995 (for POP3), 993 (for IMAP)
Outgoing Server: mail.uk2.net
Outgoing Port: 25 (not recommended), 587 or 8025
Outgoing Port for SSL: 465
Username: (full e-mail address)
SSL Connections: Outgoing-Yes, Incoming-Optional
Secure Password Authentication: No
Outgoing Server Requires Authentication: Yes

**Please note that IMAP has to be enabled for your email account on the server itself before it can be used. IMAP is included with most hosting packages. To enable this or to confirm if your package qualifies, please submit a ticket to the Technical Support Team.**

**Some mobile providers require different SMTP settings which can be found here.**
